We are looking for an exceptional Customer Marketing Manager – Grocery & High Street to be responsible for developing and executing strategic trade marketing plans to maximise brand visibility, drive sales, and foster strong relationships with key retailers. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives and sales targets. How will you contribute
  • Develop and implement comprehensive customer marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales in the grocery/high street channel.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and brand/marketing teams to develop promotional plans, product launches, and merchandising initiatives that resonate with target consumers.
  • Proactively ideate off fixture display concepts for key retail partners through to implementation. Internal coordination for successful implementation/delivery.
  • Identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform marketing strategies and optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, in-store promotions, and experiential activations.
  • Partner with retail accounts/retailer media agencies to develop joint marketing programs, , and drive in-store/online visibility and shelf placement.
  • Create best in class marketing collateral, POS materials, and sales tools to support retail activation and enhance brand presence.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, sales data, and market trends to evaluate ROI and identify areas for optimisation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, agencies, and suppliers to drive collaboration and maximise marketing impact.
  • Create trade press plan to convey key brand and product messages to trade customers. Copywrite for relevant press releases/features and awards. Brief design for print adverts, digital banners etc to the creative team.

 

What you will bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in customer marketing, shopper marketing, or retail sales within the grocery/high street sector.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, retail dynamics, and channel management.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive sales and brand growth.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving results.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, copywriting and relationship-building skills.
