Key Responsibilities
- Focused within the European region, be the key contact for 12 existing accounts with expectation of building relationships.
- Increase distribution points with existing retailers and propose additional product lines to established retailers’ ranges.
- Deliver exceptional in-store activity and drive long term in-store visibility for the brand.
- Lead monthly customer review meetings and participate in retailer review meetings alongside distribution partners.
- Within the overall European strategy, research and assess new opportunities across the region and present to key stakeholders.
- Deliver new business opportunities based on thorough market and category research.
- Assist European Brand Managers on priorities within the region to grow brand and product awareness.
- Work effectively with internal teams (demand planning, regulatory, product, logistics and finance) to ensure efficiency for Grenade and customers.
- Build and maintain monthly reporting and forecasting for all customers.
- Ensure all distribution partners receive the necessary required support to allow them to represent Grenade to the best of their ability.
- Provide training sessions where needed with distribution partners Key Account Managers and Field Sales Teams to deliver best in class strategy.
- Develop and manage customer P&L’s and budgets.
Person Specification
- Thrives on relationship building and winning new business.
- Previous experience within the FMCG or related industry.
- Ability and willingness to travel periodically throughout the year for a few days at a time.
- Can build relationships with customers at all levels of their business and possesses strong negotiation skills.
- Critical thinker with ability to research qualitative and quantitative data to inform business decisions.
- Strong independent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent numeric, written, and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, organised and flexible.
- Good influencing skills within Grenade and key customers.
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM applications).
- Contribute within the office environment when necessary.
