We are looking for a dynamic, strategic and commercially driven AFH Lead to be responsible for the development and execution of our commercial strategy across all Away From Home (AFH) channels including Foodservice, Vending and Sports Wholesale. You’ll be responsible for driving significant revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, unlocking long term brand presence outside of traditional retail as well as leading a high performing team.

This is a hands-on commercial role suited to someone who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and wants to shape the future of the Grenade AFH channel.

How You Will Contribute

 Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a long term AFH commercial strategy for the UK, aligned with brand and business goals.
  • Identify and prioritise high opportunity sub channels based on market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Ownership of the channel P&L, forecasting and promotional strategy.

Commercial & Customer Management

  • In conjunction with the team, oversee all commercial negotiations and JBP planning.
  • Drive effective in outlet execution and brand presence.

Business Development

  • Identify and secure new customer opportunities within the National Coffee Chain sector.
  • Work closely with the Product, Marketing and Category Teams to align product offering with AFH needs.

 Insight & Performance

  • Analyse channel performance and provide insight led recommendations for growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to inform commercial decisions.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and develop a high performing AFH team.
  • Support coaching and capability building across different commercial functions.

What You Will Bring 

  • Proven experience in FMCG sales or commercial roles including leadership in AFH, Convenience or Grocery channels.
  • Knowledge of the UK Foodservice sector.
  • Proven success in developing and executing channel growth strategies.
  • Track record of delivering revenue growth through strategic account development.
  • Leadership, team development and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions driven approach.
  • Collaborative, enabling meaningful working relationships with the rest of the Grenade team.
