Job Title - Office Administrator

Reports to - VP of Sales/General Manager

Location - Grenade LLC, Cranston, Rhode Island

Function - Operations

Job Type - Permanent

This role profile is a guide to the work you will initially be required to undertake. It may be changed from time to time to incorporate changing circumstances. It does not form part of your contract of employment. 

Overall Purpose of the Role 

Ensures proper flow of office procedures whilst supporting the US team by carrying out required office duties. 

Maintain a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, customers, and vendors in person, online, and via telephone. 

Demonstrate commercial value to your direct reports, line manager and Leadership teams, in line with the Grenade ®values and overall business strategy.

 Key Accountabilities 

  • Key project co-ordination and support
  • Managing correspondence 
  • Assists in planning and arranging events
  • Handles expenses and billing cycles
  • Creation of Presentations
  • Maintain stock lists and orders office supplies as needed
  • Support US Office and directors carrying out requests
  • Creates agendas and takes meeting notes
  • Assists in purchase orders and invoicing
  • Manages outgoing post and records data on special deliveries
  • Photocopies and files appropriate documents as needed
  • Attends workshops and conferences when requested

Person Specification 

  • Polite, Confident, intelligent individual who cares about the Grenade customer experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to network effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • The ability to solve problems and made decisions and offer solutions


  • Experience of working in an Administration role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Hands on approach with the ability to keep pace with the business growth
  • Team player with excellent inter-personal and organisation skills
  • Strong IT skills and quick to learn new systems, with knowledge of the key social media platforms
  • Desire to work closely with all departments in the company to gain a full understanding of Grenade, enabling an informed customer service experience

  • An interest in the Sports/Fitness/Nutrition Industry
  • 1-2 years Administration Experience
