We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join us as 'Trade Marketing Executive' to be a part of a close-knit, industry leading team of high performing individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Trade Marketing Manager and Trade Activation Manager with the 'Trade Marketing' plans
  • Support the Trade Marketing Manager and Trade Activation Manager to activate the sales team’s customer plans with high quality supporting materials to deliver e.g., POS, trade press, trade website
  • Monitor and manage POS stock levels
  • Support the Trade Activation Manager with trade press releases
  • Create briefs for the design team for email marketing, POS, trade adverts, social media and other design projects
  • Work with the social team to create retailer specific content both paid and organic
  • Create B2B email schedule, ensuring it remains up-to-date and help build the strategy to develop the customer database
  • Execute the B2B emails that are engaging to generate sales leads
  • Support with the insights and reporting behind all B2B email marketing activity on a monthly, weekly and ad-hoc basis. Ensure the email plan is founded on making informed, relevant targeting decisions for every email being sent
  • Coordinate and execute customer and trade events as identified in the Trade Marketing plan
  • Support with reporting of any trade marketing activations
  • Communicate out and engage the Sales teams on the events so that sales and prospecting opportunities are maximised
  • Co-ordinate samples as required for all these activities, including checking stocks and arranging delivery and collection to/from the event venue where relevant
  • Co-ordinates the POS and literature required for any events, plus personnel required to support the event
  • Support the Marketing plans and activities as required in order to maximise visibility of the portfolio and drive the trade awareness and reputation of the company

Person Specification

  • Marketing, Business, Events Management degree or equivalent (preferred)
  • Excellent organisation skills and determination
  • Creative with excellent attention to detail
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
