We are looking for an exceptional Head of Planning and Procurement to play a pivotal role in our finance team. Supporting the Financial Director and the Head of Operations to prepare a three-year vision for the function including technologies such as new ERP, MRP, forecast data warehousing and data visualisation tools. Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a successful planning and procurement team.

Oversee the forecast cycle by SKU for each sales channel and ensure action plans are agreed for any forecasts outside of tolerance.

Achieve target stock cover levels at all three distribution centres (two located in the UK and one located in the Netherlands)

Ensure stock allocations are put in place and the sales team are properly consulted on prioritisation.

Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and confirm they successfully provide target service levels.

Effectively provide made to order SKUs to customers in line with agreed service levels.

Oversee the raising of POs and make sure all are approved appropriately.

Responsible for the company procurement framework and ensuring compliance with the necessary SOX guidelines.

Provide support and detailed analysis to continually improve the function.
Person Specification
- Qualification in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
- Solid understand of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong change management skills.
- Experience in leading/implementing major business system changes is highly desirable.
- Able to work collaboratively across the business, and to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to network effectively.
- The ability to help manage complex projects under tight schedules.
- Roll your sleeves up, no job too small mindset is essential.
