We are looking for an exceptional Head of Planning and Procurement to play a pivotal role in our finance team. Supporting the Financial Director and the Head of Operations to prepare a three-year vision for the function including technologies such as new ERP, MRP, forecast data warehousing and data visualisation tools. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a successful planning and procurement team.

  • Oversee the forecast cycle by SKU for each sales channel and ensure action plans are agreed for any forecasts outside of tolerance.

  • Achieve target stock cover levels at all three distribution centres (two located in the UK and one located in the Netherlands)

  • Ensure stock allocations are put in place and the sales team are properly consulted on prioritisation.

  • Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and confirm they successfully provide target service levels.

  • Effectively provide made to order SKUs to customers in line with agreed service levels.

  • Oversee the raising of POs and make sure all are approved appropriately.

  • Responsible for the company procurement framework and ensuring compliance with the necessary SOX guidelines.

  • Provide support and detailed analysis to continually improve the function.

 

 Person Specification
  • Qualification in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
  • Solid understand of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong change management skills.
  • Experience in leading/implementing major business system changes is highly desirable.
  • Able to work collaboratively across the business, and to engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to network effectively.
  • The ability to help manage complex projects under tight schedules.
  • Roll your sleeves up, no job too small mindset is essential.
