Country Manager - Europe

Overall Purpose of the Role 

Grenade® have established distribution in many countries throughout Europe, with a focus towards the major Grocers, Convenience and Travel Retailers. The purpose of the role is to support and drive the growth of the existing business in partnership with Grenade®’s distribution partners, develop and implement the sales strategy for each assigned territory and streamline efficiencies to increase sales and profitability.

The role will involve business development, increasing distribution points and sales channels, working closely with the international marketing team in building the brand in a new territory, working with internal and external partners to ensure Grenade® maintains their brand consistency in territory and finally, relationship management; making sure that current and future customers are happy and engaged with Grenade® brand.

Key Accountabilities

The main duties and responsibilities will be as follows:


  • Account management responsibility for all Grenade® customers in assigned territories
  • New business generation in line with company strategies and goals
  • In conjunction with distribution partners and customers, create joint business plans and long-term strategies
  • Using all data sources available, prepare internal management reports to track progress across pre-agreed KPIs
  • Work  as part of a close international sales & marketing team to continue to deliver an outstanding customer experience and strong relationship with our current and future customers

The skills and experience required for this role are as follows:


  • A hard-working individual with a passion for sales
  • Proficient IT skills to enable analysis of data and customer EDI
  • Commercial awareness to produce and implement strategic pricing structures and manage country or account specific budgets ensuring positive profit margins.
  • Excellent communicator
  • Dynamic personality to fit into a fast growing, entrepreneurial SME environment



  • Willingness to travel oversees as required



  • Previous experience of working for a food or drinks brand within a sales role
  • Experience of managing major grocer and or convenience and or travel retail accounts
  • Strong understanding of category development, retail landscape and      in-store marketing
  • Passion for health and wellbeing
  • The ability to work independently and part of a team
  • An interest in the Sports/Fitness/Nutrition Industry
