As part of our dynamic UK Sales Team, working within our Grocery channel this role is a huge opportunity for an up-and-coming Account Manager.

This role is the perfect blend of Sales Executive and Account Manager responsibility, surrounded by a like-minded talented group of individuals the raw talent of the successful candidate will be developed into becoming a high performing sales professional.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage various smaller accounts within the Grocery portfolio
  • Ensure customer data is correct and up to date
  • Agree promotions and sign off invoices for your relevant accounts
  • Agree and negotiate JBPs for your relevant accounts
  • Build and maintain monthly forecasts for your accounts
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers, to help drive relationships forward
  • Work effectively with internal teams to ensure efficiency for Grenade and customers
  • To actively learn about and be aware of the company and its activities in order to better understand and deal with the customers’ requirements
  • Participating in customer review meetings and presenting on customer specific activity and utilisation with Head of Grocery/National Account Manager

  • An organised, systematic approach to prioritise and keep on top of daily tasks with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Ability to work both independently and under instruction
  • Excellent numeric, written, and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, organised and flexible
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person; via email; via telephone
  • Good influencing skills
  • Professional, smart & Organised
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM applications)
  • Contribute within the office environment when necessary
  • Ability to effectively work alongside marketing, accounts, and production teams
  • Strong track record in sales and customer services with ability to hit targets and KPI’s
  • Experience of working within Grocery
